How do I upload my poem... ?.

Don't be worried by the presentation you see after clicking Submit, it reverts back to your original layout when the poem is uploaded. Read the Submission Details page before posting your poem. Please don't delete "Posted by-" if you copy and paste into the submission box, as without it your poem won't be uploaded to the poetry page.
Your poem is your property, you are granting us a once only right to publish it on p2s,  poetry2share is not responsible for the safe keeping of your poem please make sure you have a back up copy for your own records. Normal copyright rules apply.
There is no cost to use this website, we are pleased to have you as a posting member. Should you wish to upgrade to a
GOLD LEAF membership [see Forum/ Gold Leaf Membership board for details] then there is a small annual fee that helps us a little along the way to keeping p2s online.

How do I register as a Member rather than a Guest on Forum?

First, by way of explanation, Forum is a bolt on extra to our website and as such is hosted by a third party hosting company, it is controlled and operated by us but to their regulations rather than our own. This is why you must register at Forum before it will display you as a Forum Member rather than just a Guest, you may do so using your poetry2share username and password however the Forum Registration will only accept alphanumeric  [A-Z and 0-9]  if your poetry2share username and password has a non-alphanumeric character [a  gap, a _, a..., a-,] between any of its characters then for it to be accepted on Forum Registration they need removing. For example,  a username for poetry2share of AN Other would only be accepted if it was written as ANOther, similarly if it was AN_Other it would only be accepted if the _ was removed, then once everything else is correctly entered including the Security Check and tick the "I Agree" button all will be well - I hope! This is a once only registration, once done successfully it can then be forgotten about and you can login to Forum as a Member.

When is my poem going to be uploaded ?

Not all poems that are submitted will be placed on our pages, some are saved for another day, some are deemed not suitable, some may be of a recurring theme that upsets the balance of the page. We appreciate all works as creations by our associates so they are not just tossed aside but we reserve this posting right. Poems from the same Author will not be posted "en bloc", post only one poem at a time together with at least one comment on another authors work.

If you have posted a poem without also commenting on another members poem, or with added appendages [ with the exception of images for Gold Leaf members] then the poem won't be uploaded to poetry2share, it must be resubmitted without additions. If you have forgotten to comment on another members work then your poem will gather dust until you do remember. Any additions by way of explanation and reasons for writing your particular poem should be posted in "Behind the Poem" board under the "Poetry" category in our Forum.

If you post a poem that has been copied from a table, or has a lot of typo's it won't be uploaded as it involves too much work for admin to correct what you should have done before you posted. If the presentation of a poem is part of the poetry style or appeal then please say so and we will post it as it stands, otherwise all poems will be centered and all stanzas will be separated by one line.

What are the site rules..?
Nothing that is posted on poetry2share main site and posted in your own name can be anything other than 100% the original work of the member posting, particularly in regard to poems. Images attached to poetry will, in most cases not be the authors own but we assume they are taken either with the copyright holders permission or from a site that freely distributes copyright free artwork. Comments posted to poems that include other authors quotations should be contained within single or double parenthesis [" " or ' ']. Audio recordings must be of your own work [unless you have been given permission from a member to record their work] and it must be the member who wrote the work who is recording it for posting on poetry2share.
Postings on Forum are also expected to be the poetry2share members own work though leeway is given here when it is an article of interest to others, the rights of using it are followed from the site it was collected from, and credit is given to the original author and source. If a member makes a comment to a posted article and gives credit where it isn't due, then that comment must be corrected by the member who posted the article so that there is no mistake that it is a copy and not an original work by the member who posted it.
