Monthly Ramblings 2012

Previous | January | February | March | April

APRIL

A beautiful March with real warm days of Spring has made everyone happy.

Although it turned cold again for some time, the joy of Easter is warming our hearts.

There was not much happening during the last month that would give me an idea

to share it with you all.

The competition now has ended 31st March, there was no submission,

so we will perhaps try for something again later in the year.

Our choice for Poem of the Month (by admin) for March is:

Nr. 4879 by Puddles

We don’t want to forget thanking Roland for the great job he does with the

weekly Highlighter poem. He really deserves an extra star for all his so

appreciated efforts!

We wish you all a very HAPPY EASTER and blessings upon you!

March

Although the nights still bear frost and the wind is rough –

everything talks of Spring to be here soon!

Ramblings this time will be very short as there is not much I could mention.

Probably nobody noticed a competition being on and so the beautiful background as well as the picture for category

which Alan chose for Competition have not got a real chance to decorate the Poetry Page.

However, the term closes only end of March.

Admin's choice for Poem of the Month of February

Nr. 4840 by Rider

Some members surely have been able to already enjoy the warm touch of early Spring sunshine and

the joy about it seems pushing our energy for plans and expectations.

We are wishing everybody a pleasant and happy time and I close this with our thanks

for all the poems and comments posted.

Spring-Greetings!

February

The so called „long month“ has gone and the shortest of the year has signed in.

After a long span of rather mild Winter, a cold spell with biting East wind (here) is keeping us in grip and all of Europe has now got the white linen of snow which is a pleasure to some and a nuisance to others. For me joy and fun but I doubt that many will join me in Sich vor Lachen schütteln

The snow-world may be the reason that stirred our idea (Alan's in fact) to have a competition on the issue

‘Winter’

and we hope that you all feel inspired to write and post your work.

There will be some prize, we have not sorted out what it will be but knowing there will be one, you may feel stirred to inspiration.

The Competition is starting from now on until March 31st and you post your poems to the new Competition Category!

The Poem of the Month chosen by admin for January 2012 is:

Nr. 4828 by Doreen

Except the weekly choice of Highlight poem, there was another Highlight to see CPD online again and Claude is granting us so many fine comments, it is wonderful to see him back! Our best wishes are always with him and our thanks too.

To all of you our thank you and our best wishes to come through the month well and protected.

Take care in the snow and keep away from all the evil bugs!

Blessings.

January

Our hope is that everybody has started the New Year well and happy and we all can join in faithful confidence for this year to be

a good one – even where needed, may it be better than the last.

After a long holiday we have taken up the duties and it seems the daily routine is just continuing, same like the sands of time are trickling through without hesitation.

We won’t fail saying ‘thank you’ for all the lovely poems relating to this holiday.

They often stirred all those special feelings and sentiments that seem to belong to

December and the change of years.

New inspiration can now help our mind being receptive and awake for new poems and

we assure you that we don’t tire reading as many posts as you feel like writing J

The choice for Poem of the Month by admin for December  is

Nr. 4781 by DEA David Anderson

There still has been no news from CPD and I ask you to continue praying for Claude,

we all feel concern and care about him.

Roland is hit by computer problems but still he did a fine job with Highlighter choice and we are thankful to him for this!

Nothing more to mention, so we are wishing you the very best and faith in every step forward!
